Born and raised on the El Paso/Juarez border, I was always around bright colors and the influence of traditional Mexican culture. I’ve always been around creative minds, inspired by the many artists and musicians in my family, so the universal language of creativity was embedded from an early age. My artwork is all based on random thoughts and emotions that I’m feeling, or metaphors depicting a personal experience or tribulation I’ve gone through. Inspired by religious icons, cubism, pop, post-impressionism, and graffiti artwork growing up, I use many different mediums to paint. The “robot” is a reflection of the joy inspired by the simplicity and innocence of my daughter, and “robot” is a self-reflection of my own personal life, views, and struggles.
Graduated from UTEP with a degree in Education in 2013. I’ve also illustrated a music videos for local band Riboflavin “Lightyear’s”. I have collaborated with Chingo Bling “Robot” shirt with Houston singer and comedian Chingo Bling. My shirts have been seen on Snow Tha Product’s music video “Play”. I’ve also, appeared on Cincinnati based company Hoist Rehydration Water’s “Lift Limit’s “series on YouTube talking about continuing to follow your dreams and passions. Also, a part of Los Visionaries Art Collective based in El Paso, TX. I also curate art shows and cohost on XucoUnderground, which is a music/ art based podcast in El Paso.
