Town Hall Meeting with Beto O’Rourke

Congressman Beto O’Rourke spoke at his 14th Town Hall meeting at The El Paso Community Foundation Room in Downtown this week where the highlights of the meeting included updates on the VA, Discretionary spending and Border Protection Officers.

The Art Avenue was able to take of moment before the meeting and present the Congressman his official issue of our latest magazine.  Local artist Tino Ortega painted the portrait for the cover of our January/February edition.  Make sure to pick up a copy at The El Paso Museum of Art Store and read about the Congressman’s first year in office and his thoughts on art and politics in the region.
