An Intimate Evening with Drake
Young Associate members and art admirers gathered at the El Paso Museum of Art last week to experience an intimate evening with contemporary artist Jame Drake. Drake has deep ties to El Paso and those in attendance were treated to an in-depth tour and discussion of his works Anatomy of Drawing and Spain (Brain Trash) on display in the Hunt Family Gallery. More than 1,000 drawings were exhibited for viewers inclusive of the wall-sized MRI scans of Drake’s brain.
Young Associates is a special members’ group offering local young professionals an exciting museum venue for professional and personal networking, signature events and a unique forum for artistic, cultural and community engagement.
Anatomy of Drawing and Spain (Brain Trash) is on display through January 8, 2017
